AUTHORS OF WHAT’S MORE ALIVE THAN YOU™ COLLECTIONS

ISKENDER ASANALIEV

Frunze - Kyrgyz Republic Feb, Day 27, 1984

I'm a multi-discipline designer, interested in all areas related to Design. For me, Design is not only a solution of a problem. It's much more. It's the way of communication. A good design of any product should reflect the style of its creator and should be able to invoke positive emotions. In my opinion timeless design styles are classical and minimal. "Classical" design style needs more time and effort. I respect it, but I prefer "minimal", because it reminds me that I'm designing something for future and just because it gives me more room to experiment and innovate. The future I imagine is comfortable. This is why I'm excited about designing something.

DA DENG

Shanghai - China Dec, Day 13, 1983

I am an Industrial Designer with educational and professional background in both China and United States. Life has always been a journey that allows me to explore different culture, philosophy and elements. It creates materials and memories for me to be inspired from, provides matters and information for me to study from. I am specialized in designing tangible objects for people’s life. A piece of furniture, a faucet, a coffee maker, a hand bag or a pair of shoes, no matter how big or how small they are, they all belong to our life, serve our needs and represent the life style of whom they belong to. My passion is about design as well as the design process. An idea could come from a “blink”, but a great design comes after a chain effect of leaching, extraction, precipitation and interpretation of the ideas and facts. I like to understand people’s behavior and their relation to the objects. I create possibilities, solutions and spirit for objects that we are familiar with, and try to express them with simple, thoughtful and elegant designs.

ADILET ASANALIEV

Bishkek - Kyrgyz Republic Jul, Day 25, 1989

I am a student of industrial design at Marmara University in Istanbul. I am convinced that today design plays an important role in life of the mankind. It gives people comfort, colorizes people's lives. I wanted to be a designer from my childhood, that I started painting landscapes, portraits, and other things from nature, this is why my inspiration comes from the beauty of Nature, it gives me an ability to see the things from different perspective. I like experiencing new things which are also reflected on my designs and it's an amazing feeling when you see people being impressed by my works.

MARIEL ANDREA VOLPE

Buenos Aires - Argentina May, Day 29, 1989

I’m an industrial design student at the University of Buenos Aires. Besides, I studied a period at the Polytechnic University of Milan in product design. From early age I’ve been interested in arts and design and through the years my passion has been focused in the creation of objects. In my designs, my work is to develop and design products centered in the emotional and sensitive aspect, taking particular care in their relationship with the people and the world. In fashion I love working with the desire that builds around it, and how the product is interpreted and appreciated and in a way changes, depending on the person who wears it. I believe in the essence of objects, they carry meanings and ideas which are reappraised by users.
